EMS Company Profile and History
In July 1997 we founded the Norcott Technologies
group to provide our customers with a total electronic design solution.
In 1999 we established an in-house electronic assembly service.
Although primarily for internal product build we expanded the offering
into subcontract assembly for our existing design customers.
With our technical background in design and development we quickly
established a niche in rapid prototyping and new product introductions
for a diverse and expanding customer base. From this sound foundation
we launched a long-term product manufacturing and support operation
to provide our customers with a total product life cycle solution.
In 2005 the assembly activities were separated out into a specialist
division – Norcott EMS. Whilst retaining a clear focus
on assembly services, we also have full access to our group design
and development services. Customers have taken advantage of these
links to develop new products, enhance existing products or re-design
products due to component obsolescence.
We provide services for national and multi-national companies across
the whole of Europe. Our customers operate in a wide range of market
sectors including automotive, broadcast and data communications.
We also provide services to high technology start-ups and major
research laboratories.
At Norcott EMS we are keen to discuss your electronic manufacturing
requirements and develop a long-term mutually beneficial partnership.
