We offer both hand and wave soldered PTH assembly. We are able to accommodate double-sided SMT with PTH designs by utilising component shielding carriers. For modest production runs the creation of a jig can be cost effective. We are usually able to extract the necessary information from a standard manufacturing package.

On very high density designs it may be necessary to hand solder the PTH parts, as there may not be sufficient clearance to achieve solder wave penetration.

Where appropriate the PTH component leads are formed and cropped to length on our semi-automatic machines prior to insertion.
